Eighty-eight modular medallions — each a precise twelve-piece sunburst — survive intact from a 1970s Japanese architectural installation: over one thousand individual tiles, each arc glazed in cobalt, olive, smoke, and gold. Most such panels survive in twos and threes; here the repetition remains whole. 88 complete medallions (~1,056 tiles); each ~6-inch octagonal sunburst; excellent glaze retention. An installation quantity, sufficient to recreate an entire wall or floor field.
