From the kilns of the American Encaustic Tile Company—founded in Zanesville, Ohio in 1875 and once the largest tileworks in the world—comes this monumental lot of antique tiles.

Their glaze is a luminous parchment: ivory warmed by amber smoke, feathered through with botanical green. Fine allover crackle traces each surface like age-burnished paper. No two tiles are ever quite alike; together they create a living, organic rhythm.

Tile Count & Sizes: 120 tiles at 6 x 1.5 in; 81 tiles at 3 x 1.5 in; total coverage approx. 10 square feet. Vast enough for a complete fireplace surround and hearth, a backsplash, a powder-room wall, or designer re-use in cabinetry, furniture, or art installations.
