Clear celadon at the center, deepening into moss and mineral tones at the edges — light moves through this field of tiles rather than across it. Produced by the Alhambra Tile Company, a small early 20th-century maker known for refined, tonal glaze work. 120 total tiles: 75 at 6 x 1.5 in, 45 at 3 x 1.5 in; coverage about 6.1 sq ft; white clay body with ribbed backs; high-gloss celadon green with natural tonal variation. Suitable for a full fireplace surround, a feature wall, or wainscoting. Recovered from a Cincinnati-area home; sets of this size are rarely preserved intact.
