A large matched set of 92 antique fireplace tiles from the Cambridge Tile Company, Covington, Kentucky, c. 1900–1920. Glazed in drifting clouds of pale blue and cocoa smoke, their mottled surfaces evoke watercolor washes or stormlight caught in porcelain. Set contents: 2 sticks (6 x 1.5 in) and 90 keys (3 x 1.5 in); total coverage ~2.9 sq ft. Watercolor mottling with high-gloss and natural crackle; each tile a unique painterly variation. Antique originals with fine crazing and edge rubs. Ideal for fireplace surrounds, jewel-box backsplash, stair-riser bands, or restoration stock.
