Description

A full breath of Edwardian lushness captured in creamy smoke and forest glaze. This ten-piece set of antique 6 x 6 in tiles by the Cambridge Tile Company features an elegant baroque scroll motif in high relief, rendered in a blended celadon-olive and ivory glaze with hints of pink ash, ghosted jade, and tea-washed bone beneath fine intentional crazing. Marked Cambridge on the back with the signature ridged mold. Circa 1910s–20s; several with edge wear or minor chips as shown; overall solid and worthy of re-use or framing.
