Antique AETCO Mottled Green Field Tiles — 121-Piece Lot

Description

This ensemble contains a substantial quantity of marked AETCO field tile suitable for wide borders, tall uprights, extended fireplace compositions, or full-run applications in kitchens and bathrooms. With 75 long runners and 46 short connectors, the set offers enough linear material for large architectural layouts.

Produced by the American Encaustic Tile Company in Zanesville, Ohio (c. 1895–1910). The bodies are thin and strong, sizing is consistent, and edges remain crisp — a coherent architectural group rather than a mixed salvage lot.

Glaze: mottled green dispersed over an ivory ground, fine uniform crazing, bright high-gloss surface. Pairs naturally with white, cream, honey, and cocoa accents.
