Antique Hamilton Tile Burnt Gold Floral Pair — 6×6, c.1890

Description

Burnt scrollwork and smoky floral glaze — two tiles, a century of drama. This pair of antique majolica fireplace tiles was produced by the Hamilton Tile Company in the late 19th century. Each tile features a stylized floral scroll design in deep golden umber and burnt caramel glazes, with rich depth and natural crazing; the surface has a luminous, almost lacquered effect. Two matching tiles, each 6 x 6 inches; circa 1890, made in Hamilton, Ohio; beautiful condition with all-over crazing. Suitable for fireplace side panels, backsplash accents, or framing — increasingly rare, especially in pairs.
