Rookwood Pottery Tile Lot — Custom Deep Turquoise Glaze, Cincinnati (~9 sq ft)

Description

A lot of authentic Rookwood Pottery tile in a custom deep turquoise glaze, salvaged from a mid-century home in Cincinnati — approximately 9 square feet, 6×2 and 3×2 in tiles. About one square foot is unused new old stock; the rest reclaimed, cleaned, and ready to install. The glaze pools into teal and near-midnight in the recesses and breaks lighter, almost iridescent, across the high points, with deep crazing and dramatic tile-to-tile variation. Marked Rookwood on the reverse, one tile with the impressed flame stamp on the face; three standard Rookwood green tiles included for comparison.
